THE LAST DAYS OF MILLENNIUM MILLS

These photos are part of a series of 30 taken in October 2021.

Millennium Mills was a derelict flour mill near the Royal Docks in Silvertown, east London, originally built in 1905, then rebuilt in 1933 as an art deco concrete building. At its height in the 1950s it employed thousands. In the early 1980s the mill was closed and has long been empty, falling into disrepair. It had some occasional use as a film & music video location and recently regeneration works began.
